For The Record

TYI's official stance on the Amare trade is:

**If it's Gooden, Tyrus, Sefolosha and a draft pick, pull the trigger.

**If Steve Kerr actually expect you to add Noah to all of that, laugh in his face.

BOO! Just Say No! It is becoming clear that Tyrus is capable of being a consistent contributor for our Bulls & often a difference maker (last night). Tyrus' D & rebounding, along w/ his youth & still unknown potential, make him more valuable to this young Bulls team than Amare. I used to be a big fan of Amare & never thought I would oppose a trade to get him on the Bulls but at this point I have no stomach for a big man who does not play defense & does very little rebounding. He also disappears from games whereas Tyrus is always doing something to get noticed, usually in a positive way.

Good suggestion. I'm a big fan of Thomas, but if it's basically him for Stoudemire, straight-up, yes. But don't add anything more of value. Well, I'd rather give the Suns the right to "switch picks" like the Bulls did with one of the picks in the Curry trade.

But yeah, I still think Thomas is going to be a really good player, but Stoudemire (to me) is basically a more offensive, less well-rounded Pau Gasol. Only, um... not as good. Okay, that doesn't make sense. Basically, I don't think he's as good as Gasol, but close, and he provides an element for the Bulls, like Gordon, that gives him a bit of a "boost" in value.
