Jim Boylan Explains His Master Plan

"I'm just throwing some stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks," Boylan said.
The eye-roller courtesy of K.C. Boylan's only been with the team since 2004, so give him a little more time for a good assessment of the backcourt. At least he doesn't have any truly impossible decisions to make.

For the most part, I've been pretty happy with Boylan's post-trade rotations so far. With Kirk getting tossed, he could've justified using Du in the second half, but he never did.

I would've liked to have seen Gooden on Dirk and Tyrus on Dampier toward the end of the game last night, but even that suggests to me that they are developing Ty as a defender. If he's going to be our PF of the future, he's going to have to be able to guard guys like Dirk.

The rotations haven't been a problem so far. It's Boylan's thoughts on the backcourt, new players, rotations, etc. Hughes isn't an unknown quantity. The rotation and roles need to be ironed out, but head scratching and wishing for a past-the-midway-mark training camp seems to be the opposite of figuring it all out.

I agree with you bengo07. I am not disappointed with the rotation and it seems that the answer to the backcourt jam is to sit Duhon. I am curious to see what happens this summer.
